Sterkh Joint Stock Insurance Company is one of the biggest insurance companies in the Far East of Russia. Share capital is 120 million roubles. The purpose of establishing insurance company was to integrate insurance activity into the economy of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Joint Stock RSK “Sterkh” was registered in the Federal Fiscal inspection in Yakutsk on the 4 th of May, 2005.

The company has license for the 20 kinds of insurance activity and license for re-insurance activity. (License 3983 11/10/2005).

The founders of the company “Sterkh” are:

• “Tuymaada-neft” Joint-Stock Oil Company,
• State Unitary Enterprise “The committee for precious metals and gem stones of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia),
• “Stroyselgazifikatsiya” State Unitary Enterprise.

The general director of the company is Semen Maksimovich Berezin. He is a Deputy of the Parliament (IL Tumen) of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia), Ph.D. in Economics.

One of the main activities of RSK “Sterkh” is re-insurance activity. It provides more effective protection for its clients, insurance portfolio's balance and also financial stability.

Re-insurance protection is accomplished on the obligatory and optional bases which allows to take compound risks and shortly accommodate it to the insurance market.
