Yakutugol Company is the largest coal-mining enterprise of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) which develops three deposits of coal: Nerungrinskiy, Kangalasskiy and Dzhebariki-Haya.

Yakutugol Company is transformed from State Unitary Enterprise "Yakutugol" within the framework of the State program of privatization and is its assignee by all rights and obligations. The state registration of the enterprise is made on December, 23, 2002 . Now Yakutugol Company extracts 9 million tons of coal, from them 8 million tons is being extracted at open-cast mine "Nerungrinskiy".

The basic consumers of Nerungrinskiy coal in a domestic market are power supply systems of Far East federal district, the metallurgical enterprises of Ural and Siberia . Over 50 % of the coal production extracted by Nerungrinskiy mine, is being sold on Asian - Pacific market ( Japan , South Korea , etc.). Yakutugol Company is the largest Russian exporter at this market and has the reputation of reliable supplier of qualitative production. Coal from mine "Kangalasskiy" and underground mine Dzhebariki-Haya is being delivered basically to the territory of Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

By results of the activity Yakutugol Company has prestigious international awards for quality: the Silver medal for the quality, awarded on the international exhibition in Cannes (France) in 2001, the Gold prize for quality and prestige of the business at the International summit held in Lebanon in 2002, the Gold medal «For quality» from the international fair- exhibition "Expo - coal" taking place in 2002, production of the enterprise is included into «100 best goods of Russia».
