Plisada Movie Premier
Plisada is a new movie directed by Edward Novikov, a graduate of the St.-Petersburg Cinema University. Its premier took place in SakhaFilm Cinema Theater. Margarita Borisova and Ivan Popov, actors of the Sakha Theater, are starring in it.
The plot is based on Nikolay Gabyshev's story Misha and Plisada with events taking place in Yakutsk in the middle of the last century. The main character, Plisada, tirelessly planted kitchen gardens, planted and hilled potatoes, but at will of the director "forgets" about her dearest vegetable patches and becomes a businesswoman heading one of city's popular restaurants. Today's life of a heroine is demonstrated after.
Before the beginning of 45-minute movie, the documentary film about "Games of Manchaary-2005 " is demonstrated. It was quite problematic to visit the games… The crowd on ferry was incredible! Ough….
