Take a closer look at the richness of the Sakha culture
On July 26 – 28, 2006 the official delegation of the Sakha Republic led by the republic minister of culture and spiritual development Andrey Borisov will make a visit to Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
The Ministry of education, culture and science of Mongolia invited Yakutians. The purpose is to establish interregional cooperation in culture.
The delegation includes representatives of republic intelligentsia, namely cultural workers and artists.
Two ministries of culture intend to arrange a meeting of two masterpieces of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity (recognized by UNESCO) – Olonkho and Urtyn Duu. The event promises to be grandiose and spectacle. Two heroic eposes will display their utmost greatness.
Additionally, Yakutian culture workers plan to conduct the Days of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in Ulan Bator. Feel the difference. Any resident and guest of Mongolia are welcome to take a closer look at the richness of the Sakha culture.
