Shooting of By The Will Of Genghis Khan to continue in Khakasia after Tuva
The film crew of By The Will Of Genghis Khan, headed by Andrei Borisov, the film producer, Minister of Culture of Yakutia, left for Khakasia Republic for a film expedition on September, 6.
The project organizers reported that the shooting would continue in Khakass Valley of Tsars and then move to the Altay Mountains, to the banks of the Katun River.
The longest journey of the international project in Tuvan Republic finished yesterday. The film crew had started its trip to Tuva in the beginning of August. More than 300 people were involved in the shooting. The cast is international. Tuvan actor Tadyrykbay Ondar plays the lead - Genghis Khan, and Yakut people's actress Stepanida Borisova plays his mother Ojulun.
Actors from Mongolia, China, Buryatia, Khakasia, Altai, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and other countries and Russian regions also play in the film. Chinese people's actor Tu Men plays a Chinese chronicler. The world champion in ultimate fighting Oleg Taktarov plays Kuchulug Khan. "The main Asian villain" of Hollywood Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (The Last Emperor, Pearl Harbor, Memoirs of a Geisha), is also involved in the project.
