Olonkho Drama Studio, the Crystal Lyre Prize laureate
Olonkho Drama Studio directed by Svetlana Lukina returned from Paris, where it had participated in the Crystal Lyre International Music Festival on March 19-29, 2007.
The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was additionally represented by Alexander Dyachkovsky (stage name – Saaryn), Lubov Konstantinova (Kytaly), Lubov Karataeva, and Evdokia Pavlova.
Festival participants competed in nominations “Folk music”, “Modern folk dance”, “Vocal”, and “Instrumental music.”
By the determination of the international jury, Olonkho Drama Theater became a festival laureate. The festival prize of the 1st degree has been earned by Alexander Dyachkovsky (“Instrumental music”), Lubov Konstantinova (“Vocal”). Lubov Karataeva's Olonkho performance in the French language deserved jury's high appraisal.
Prior to the festival, the studio conducted tour in Byelorussia, Poland, Germany.
