Jeada released the new album
YAKUTSK. Jeada, popular Yakutian rap performer, whose real name is Gosha Vasiliev, presented his new album ‘Olokh/Ostuoruya’ (Life / A Fairy Tale) on May 30.
The concept of the new release came up in 2004. Olokh/Ostuoruya includes 24 tracks.
”That’s about the balance between two worlds, play upon thoughts, emotions and feelings. Every track gives options to a listener. The album is harsh, but reveal a captivating dance of Sakha words," said jeada.
"New songs have been neither broadcasted on the radio nor uploaded onto the Internet. Olokh/Ostuoruya is the mixture of various styles and the result of many musicians and vocals’ efforts. I hope my new piece will appear to be of great interest,” said Gosha Vasiliev.
The album was created thanks to Innokenty Gavriliev (guitar, arrangement), Kolya Mikheev (arrangement), Alexey Abramov (arrangement), Sasha Vasiliev (arrangement), Igor Ivanov (bass), bands ‘Urban Rhyme’, ‘Danketsy’, and others.
Innokenty Gavriliev said that Jeada’s phenomenon is of nature, that excludes artificiality and overacting, his songs are appreciated by teens as well as music experts.
Sergei Zverev’s new movie “Dalaha Ustun Unuor” staring Jeada is upcoming in fall. Jeada is also planning to release three editions of collected verses.

P.S. Gosha Vasiliev is a high school graduate of Megino-Kangalassky district. He writes music and text to his songs himself. Became extremely popular after his perfomance "Min Sakhabin" (I am Sakha) in 2005. Was accused in nationalism. However, his work was finally evaluated by public to be patriotic. |
