A New Stage of Cooperation with Komatsu

YAKUTSK. The President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Vyacheslav Shtyrov and vice-president of Komatsu Mining Germany GmbH Heinz Koelsch have signed the protocol on intentions.

During negotiations the first person of the republic and members of delegations discussed the plans of delivering technical equipments for already operating and projected (e.g., ElgaUgol project) mining enterprises of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Komatsu Mining Germany GmbH has confirmed its interest in extending teamwork with Yakutian experts.

For more detailed acquaintance with the newest technology, the company has expressed readiness at any time to show its factories to Yakutian partners.

As Yakutugol Holding Company General Director Vladimir Petrov noted, the analysis of Komatsu dredges' work in the open-pit mine “Nerungrinsky” confirms that the above-mentioned equipments can be used successfully in severe Yakutia, the press centre of the republic president and government informs.
