Yakutia is the second for gold mining
As the Gold Industry Union reports, Russia 's gold mining increased in 1.2% for 7 months during this year.
Krasnoyarsky region and the Republic of Sakha got over the 2005 slump. Krasnoyarsky region is the first in gold mining with 17,461.4 kg . Yakutia is the second with 8,556.4 kg. Yakutia's increase is provided by the Kuranakh deposit.
Also Magadanskaya, Khabarovsky and Sverdlovskaya regions were mentioned.
Besides the gold mining reduction was marked in Amurskaya, Irkutskaya regions, the Republic of Tyva and others. There are many reasons for that, and it is necessary to work out measures to stimulate gold output.
