An American scientist to conduct a seminar on alcohol addiction treatment

An acknowledged US scientist Bernard Segal paid a visit to Yakutsk . He is Doctor of Science, professor, and a chronic alcoholism treatment expert. His arrival was arranged by Republic Family & Childhood State Committee in cooperation with the Yakutsk Secretariat of the Northern Forum, the Republic Ministry of Healthcare, Yakut Scientific Center , and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Bernard Segal plans to visit Municipal Polyclinic #1 in Yakutsk , Medical Social Rehabilitation Division in the settlement of Kangalassy, and Healthy Lifestyle Center in Megino-Kangalassky district. Also he is going to preside at round-table discussion with civil society organizations in the settlement of Maya.

On September 4-7, Bernard Segal will lead a republic seminar in Maternity & Childhood Protection Center in Yakutsk. The topic is the early detection and diagnostics criteria of alcohol addiction. Participants are expected to be experts in narcology, therapeutists, physicians, and other chronic alcoholism experts.
