Meeting in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On Apr. 28, 2006 Minister of Foreign Relations of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Alexander Migalkin was invited for a reception to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Yakovenko.

Minister informed Mr Yakovenko about the main directions of international land external economic relation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Deputy Minister expressed his approval and support for the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of the republic.

During the meeting the issues of the coming visit of UNESCO Director-General to Yakutia were also discussed. Mr Alexander Yakovenko expressed his intention of accompanying Mr Koitiro Matsuura during his visit to Yakutia.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Mr Ivan Rojin, Counsellor to the Vice-President on international issues, also took part in the meeting.
