Yakutian policemen joined International Police Association
Sixteen veterans and working officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sakha Republic decided to join world police fellowship. They founded a regional branch of the Russian division of International Police Association (IPA).
The other day there was the constituent assembly of the Yakutian branch of IPA. Mr. Alexei Gankin, the president of Russian division of International Police Association, attended the event. Assembly participants expressed unanimity for the regional branch to be.
The president of a newly fledged non-government organization was elected V.Ivanova, a veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sakha Republic , major-general of security. Retired militia colonels D.Dyachkovsky, V.Burtseva, and F.Donskoy were appointed to be vice-presidents.
The Russian division of International Police Association includes more than 6 thousands members. It has 45 regional branches. IPA Russia gains ground from year to year. At present, affiliates are going to be open in Primorsky Krai, Lipeck, Razan and other oblasts.
