2283 people evacuated in Tattinsky ulus
On Friday the most critical situation happened in Tattinsky ulus. On the morning near the village of Ytyk-Kyuel flood waters reached 149.6 m , that is significantly higher than the critical mark. As of 17.00, water rose another 10 cm , YSIA reported.
The early morning ice cover was blasted to remedy the river bed downstream the Tatty river, 1.5 kilometres from the village of Ytyk-Kyuel . Blasting operations will be repeated during the day between Kyyy and Cherkeh villages.
As of 17.00, near the village of Ytyk-Kyuel the water raised another 10 cm . 320 private houses have been inundated. 2,283 people have been evacuated. 580 heads of cattle are moved to secure places from flood-stricken areas. 25500 sand bags have been delivered from the settlement of Nizhny Bestyah to be used in fortifying banks.
According to meteorologists, rains are expected in the central districts next day. It is supposed to be raining for three days. That may very complicate the situation.
