Farewell, Roman

The rising sport star vanished. On Monday, 9 th October, the city of Nerugri bid farewell to Roman Dobryansky who passed away of his own free will.

21-years-old athlete managed to get many achievements in weightlifting for his short length of life. He is the winner of regional, national and continental championships.

He became the junior champ of Europe in 2001, the silver winner of the continental championships in 2002 and 2003. Last year he won the Championship of Russia among adults in 69 kg category.

He is a master of sports at international level, a member of Russian national team. He was Yakutia' real pride and Russia's hope.

Nerungri and Yakutia always rejoiced at Roman Dobryansky and his coach Vladimir Kopach's victories. The reason of his suicide is incomprehensible. What caused the young man who had never afraid of difficulties to end the course of outstanding life? No answers found.
