[About the movie]
Synopsis: Dmitry, the main character, got serious trauma in his childhood. His parents died when his family went out of Yakutsk (the administrative center of Yakutia) for picnic. His sister is the only relative he has at present.
It is the middle of July. 23-year-old Dmitry has graduated from Yakutsk State University. Yet he didn’t decide what career to choose. His friends – Nikolay, Ilya, Vitaly, Peter – and he set out for camping-trip into taiga (thick coniferous forest). Just to have fun. As expected in horror, they got lost in woods. Being on a strenuous bender, they suddenly started quarrelling with each other. The drunken brawl happened near a sacred shaman tree and guys took out their fury on that conifer. They shouldn’t do that. From that point on the spirits of Siberian taiga would not let disturbers come out of the wood alive…
One of main parts is played by Sardana Koryakina. She is a model, the winner of Miss Yakutia 2005. Sardaana is very popular in the republic and beyond its bounds. She is very welcome by famous Russian photographers.
