The State Variety Theater

Since 1968, having received their diplomas, graduates of the All-Russian Creative Workshop of Variety art in Moscow returned home. They were dancer Dmitry Neustroyev, singer Natalia Trapeznikova and soloist — vocalist Jury Platonov.

They become the first actors for the concert-variety office, which has developed into the Yakut State Philarmonic Society since 1979. In 1998 this creative association has received the proud name of the State Variety Theater.

Today the State Variety Theatre is a fine ensemble, often trav eling on tours in Yakutia and glorifying Yakutia at international festivals in Europe and Asia. The bright names of the State Variete Theatre are well-known. Today the troupe was updated internally and externally, and thus has acquired more brightness and depth. It is the most democratic and national kind of art.
