In 2004 gold mining output increased by 10.7and the share in industrial output amounted to 6.3

The largest companies are: AldanZoloto JSC, AldGold Ltd, Zolotinka Industrial Complex, Zapadnaya Artel, Seligdar Artel, Nirungan Ltd, Nerungri Metallic Ltd, Novaya Artel, Drazhnic Artel.

Output of gold is realized in accordance with worked out program of gold mining development and exploitation of non-ferrous deposits. The program keeps formed potential on exploitation of small fields, puts into operation large gold deposits – Nezhdaninskoye and Kuchus, increases production power on exploitation of Kuranakhskoye ore field, works small and middle gold deposits with favorable technologic and mining – geological conditions of workup.
