Oil & Gas Industry
In Yakutia, oil extraction and processing is possible through:
- realization of the East Siberian oil delivery project for export (including the Talakan deposit);
- exploitation of Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field;
- input of oil processing facilities in the Western Yakutia ;
- continuation of settlements gasification.
More than 10 subsurface sites are included in the annual list of the objects of using bowels licensing in the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) by Federal agency of subsurface management (Rosnedra) of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
After carrying out of auctions on the specified deposits in the distributed fund of bowels there will be 85 per cent of industrial stocks of natural gas and 96 per cent of oil on the balance to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Deposits with the general stocks on gas - 1716 billion cubic meter (75 per cent from balance stocks), on oil 103 mln tn (34 per cent) are presented to republic to distribution per 2005. For present time about 10 per cent resources of oil and 14 per cent of natural gas are prepared to assimilation and development.
Future subsurface of the specified deposits, together with already present JSC"Surgutneftegas", will render defining influence on a policy of an oil-and-gas complex of the Republic: rates of development of deposits, development oil-and gasretriting, directions of lines of pipelines and connected with them increase of volumes of exploration on escalating stocks of oil and gas in Yakutia.
In the gas industry the volumes of extraction of natural gas and manufacture of a gas condensate in 2004 were 1644,9 mln cu m and 83,8 thn tn respectively. There are three deposits in the development: Srednevilyuysky and Mastakhsky gascondensate sites and also Srednebotuobisky gascondensate site. The basic volume of extraction of gas is made by JSC " Yakutgasprom " (over 85 per cent), the other 15 per cent fall to JSC "Alrosa-gas".
