Polymeric glue composition for the production of wood structures and goods

A technology of wood glueing using modified urea-formaldehyde glues has been developed jointly with GUP “Sakhamebel” for use in furniture production and housing construction in moderate heat-moisture conditions. The technology is based on the use of KFPVA four component integrated glue on the basis of low toxicity urea-formaldehyde resin KFJ-M (E 1 emission class) and polyvinylacetate dispersion along with an insertion of glycol and oligomeric hardening agent. Three groups of modified glue have been developed subject to the conditions of use of glued wood. Implementation of new technology doesn't require additional financial expenses and doesn't decrease the productivity. With the substitution of a two-component polyvinylacetate dispersion made by foreign companies with the KFPVA integrated glue a financial economy of up to 18 per cent can be achieved.

Usage properties of wood glued connection (on the example of a pine-tree):

  1. Control samples;
  2. Water resistance;
  3. Cold resistance (-45 degrees C);
  4. Atmosphere resistance after 30 months of exhibiton;
  5. Cyclical heat-humidity tests (after 30 cycles).

Complex powdery modifier of PFM-NLK concrete for metal-concrete construction with high frost-resisting requirements

Modifier of concrete has many functions. And its usage supplies:

  • 20-25 per cent reduction of water content in concrete mixture;
  • 20-35 per cent strengthening of concrete;
  • 15-20 per cent saving of cement;
  • creation of conditionally closed pores' system in concrete structure;
  • 3-5 per cent increase of air-drawing into concrete mixture;
  • increase of frost-resisting properties up to F400 and lower.

Type of production: PFM-NLK polyfunctional modifier of concrete (TC 2493-010-04786546) is developed in 2002.

The objects of introduction: SpetsMost SIE ( Khabarovsk ), the Far East Mining and Construction Company ( Vladivostok ), Mirninsky KSM SMT Construction Department of ALROSA JSC (Mirny).

Cost of production is commercial. The introduction of PFM-NLK into Construction department of ALROSA JSC yields the annual economic effect of 476 172 rubles at concrete volume of 7800 m3 , i.e. 61 rbl/m3.

Technology of secondary recycling of plastic waste for the production of construction materials

The technology is intended for the utilization of hard domestic waste, including polyethylene products (film, packing) and polyethylene terephthalate (glass packing) with the subsequent production of construction materials. During the last few years the institute has been conducting work on a new of technology of plastic domestic waste recylcing using organic loading: sawdust, waste of local textile and leather factories. On the basis of research production of the folloeing materials and goods is proposed: roofing materials, heat-insulating materials, moulded strips (plinth, platband etc), finishing materials, layers and sheets (coloured, metallized), molded construction materials.

Effective wall materials for exploitation under severe climatic conditions

Waterproof gypsum tenacious compounds of law water consumption and wall materials made of local crude are developed by the Moscow State University of Construction in cooperation with the Yakut Project and Research Institute of Construction. Developed compounds (WGCCT – waterproof gypsum cement ceolyte tenacious textures and WGLCT – waterproof gypsum lime ceolyte tenacious textures) are intended for the exploitation under the severe climate conditions.

Reference consumption of crude

Compounds of sawdust concrete based on WGCCT and WGLCT are selected in reference to casting and vibration technologies with marks of strength within 2.5 … 12.5 at compression and 600 … 1300 kg/m3 at average solidity, and with improved exploitation properties.

Developed compounds may be used in construction of the few-floored buildings by monolithic method or instead of gypsum tenacious materials in production of gypsum-cardboard and gypsum-fibrous sheets, small items for partitions. Their production is to increase their waterproof properties and to expand the application sphere in construction.

Production cost is specified in each case accordingly.

The technological regulations of sawdust concrete blocks, WGCCT and WGLCT are developed.

Widening additive ASG-1

The mineral widening additive ASG-1 is developed on base of thin-ground mica. This additive is intended for production of unshrinkaged, widening and bracing cements, concrete with compensating shrinkage and concrete with various self-stress energy.

With the usage of ASG-1 the following materials are made of:

- Bracing cement NC-10

– period of readiness, h-min: start at 2-54, finish at 3-49; cement activity, Mpa: R compression=44.6, R readiness = 6.7, Linear widening, per cent - 0.1; self-stress, Mpa – 1.4.

- Concrete with compensating shrinkage:

class of strength – B22.5 … B35; mark of waterproofness – W8; energy of self-stress, Mpa – 0.24 … 0.71; strength of normal two-days-age hardening – 33.0 … 54.0 per cent from R28.

- Hydro-isolation plaster texture:

mark on mobility – Pk3, mark of strength – M100 at average strength of 2100 kg/m3, shrinkage is not observed.

- Dry mixture for seam hydro-isolation:

mobility in cone StroiCNIL – 3 cm ; period of readiness – start at >15, finish at less than 30; R compression – 20 Mpa; waterproofness – W8; frost resisting – F300, linear widening – 0.1 … 0.15 per cent.

Type of production: Widening additive ASG-1 TC 5743-011-04786546-2001 is developed in 2002.
