Development of diamond mining industry by means of rationalization of open-cut mining of alluvial deposits and tubes Yubileinaya, Nyirbinskaya, Komsomolskaya, Udachnaya and others; transition to underground mining, involvement to exploration of new alluvial and bed-rock deposits, organization and rationalization of diamond mining in other regions of Russia (f.e. Arkhangelskaya area) and the world (f.e. Angola and others).
Development of diamond polishing industry by means of modernization of production on terms of leasing, credit, long-term rent; conduction of scientific researches on enhancement and development of cutting technologies and jewelry production; organization of regular activity of the Diamond Exchange; creation a specialized customs post in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
Development of gold mining industry on the base of increasing of mined gold of the efficient gold mines. The main directions and objects of gold mining development are Kuranakhskoye, Nizhne-Yakokitskoye and Tabornoe ore fields; realization of investment projects on exploitation of large gold ore deposits Nezhdaninskoye and Kyuchus; implementation of new ore leaching technology to exploit middle-sized and small gold ore deposits of Verkhne-Indigirskiy and South Yakutian gold mining areas.
Development of jewelry industry by means of creation of cutting and jewelry enterprises, technical reequipping and production modernization, implementation of modern gem cutting technologies; exploitation of decoration stones deposits “Mariyka”, “Taloye”, “Ogonn'or”, “Nadezhda”.
Development of oil and gas complex with an aim to provide growing inner economic needs of the republic and take part in large-scale export deliveries of oil and gas to the countries of Asian-Pacific Region by means of exploitation of Talakanskoye, Chayandinskoye, Sredne-Botuobinskoye, Irelyakhskoye, Taas-Yuryakhskoye and other oil and gas deposits and perspective areas; creation of transport infrastructure, implementation of oil and gas-processing objects.
Development of coal industry on the base of the exploitation of Elginskoye coal deposit, development of the Southern Yakutian underground-coal-mining enterprises; completion of enriching factory reconstruction of JSHC “Yakutugol” and technical re-equipment of “Neryungrinskiy” open-cast mine, “Dzhebariki – Khaya” mine and creation of new coal-mining enterprises.
Providing of stable tin and antimony mining considering economic efficiency and market conjuncture.
Formation of optimal fuel and power balance of the republic on the base of internal fuel resources and united power system, also rational implementation of autonomous power and heating systems.
Agriculture – formation of effective and competitive agricultural complex by means of measures aimed to perfection of processing and sales system, management and state support, maintenance and further accumulation of industrial facilities, development of merchantability of agricultural production owing to stimulation and development of different forms of integration and cooperation among agricultural subjects, districts, agricultural and industrial productions, material and technique provision on leasing terms, development of traditional branches of the North, creation new jobs on settlements.
Construction – creation of new and reconstructing of existing construction facilities basing on usage of modern highly productive technologies of industrial and housing construction.
Trade – development of trade relations with other regions of the Russian Federation and also with foreign countries, extensions of the goods range and increasing of their competitiveness.
Transport - increasing the number of services of automobile transportation, development of transport infrastructure providing the all-season railroad and automobile transport deliveries to Southern and Central zones of the republic by means of developing Tommotskiy transportation connection point, construction of approach railroad to Elginskoye coal deposit, completion of construction of railroad Berkakit – Tommot – Yakutsk, construction and reconstruction of automotive road networks: Lena (Yakutsk – Amurskaya region), Kolyma (Yakutsk – Magadan), Vilyui and Amga, Kobyai; technical re-equipping of road construction industry of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia); creation of new small aircraft fleet, the modernization of high-ice class ships and small-shipment fleet.
