The Nomadic Schools

Evenki primary school as campus of Sebyan-Kyul elementary school named after P.Lamutsky was found by one of the biggest reindeer herd “Sebya” in 2002.

Teacher is Stepanova Nadejda Alekseevna.

It is necessary to educate children who move with their parents. If material basis were strengthen 106 children could be with family. At this moment reindeer-breeders' children are educated in Sebyan-Kyel school and live at their relatives. Mothers are forced to be in village for education period. There aren't conditions for the school's function and material basis. Children study in tentages, transport scheme is difficult: in winter-breeders, snowmobile.

Nomadic class of primary education as Sebya-Kyel ekementary school's branch works at Lamynkh community since 2001, according enactment of nomadic school. At the state level school are known as experimental. 2 pupils were covered in educational process:

Nomadic class has one teacher-tutor: Stepanova Nadejda Alekseevna. School library provide books and methodical literature. School supplies and transport are parents' care.

Organization of the educational process:

Subject: “From camp to the world of human's knowledge”

Actuality: Misinterpretation of market relations, family helplessness and loss of belief in decent life, dead-end situation, absence of public organization's support leaded to poverty of people's pedagogy and personal degradation.

Goal: personal education

Tasks:

1. Develop intellect by way of out-of-school activities.

2. Learn self-support and independence in conditions of the North.

3. Help in opening up of the public life's conditions.

4. Educate trust and kind attitude towards outworld.

5. Form positive attitude towards life and native.

Schedule:

I quarter – 15/09-28/10

II quarter – 10/11-25/12

III quarter – 16/01-25/03

IV quarter – 10/04-25/05

Summer holidays – 25/05-30/08

Lessons begin at 9 o'clock.

Period: 40 min.

Pause: 10 min.

School works for 5 days, Saturday is ancestor's lessons.

Educational plan is built base upon ancestor's lessons on the principle of use the received knowledge in life activities.

On the morrow of primary education school leaver passed following exams: Mathematics (4 tasks, 1-creative), Russian (dictation with grammar tasks), evenki language (dictation).

Examination commission consists of school's teachers.
